Whoa, the boy doing great this month! Once upon a time my favourite player to pull apart, the big centre forward has now been nominated as the PFA Player of the Month.
This is another award he’s nominated for, different to the SkyBet Payer of the Month he just missed out on earlier this month. His 110 (ish) minutes on the field in March certainly turned a few heads, as well as turning our own play off hunt into something tangible.
He’s up against some of the divisions heavyweights, but once again how could you rule him out? Love him or loathe him, he’s gone from fringe player to super sub, from everyone’s go-to scapegoat to the guy we’re all clamouring to see come on after sixty minutes.
