I’ll only normally do one of these per team, so it’s been missing recently as we’ve played sides I’d already covered.
However, I did cover the Latics ahead of our 1-1 draw there earlier in the season, but they still get the thank you treatment this afternoon.
It’s a huge game tomorrow night, a great chance to open up a five point gap at the top and enter single figures for the number of matches we have still to play. There’s a real buzz around Sincil Bank after the last week and quite rightly so.
Oldham will be looking to damage that buzz, maybe even hoping to inflict a second home defeat of the season on us. We’ve not lost with eleven men on the field at home in the league since Crewe beat us over a year ago. That’s impressive.
Equally as impressive is the list of things we have to thank them for, and a few things not to.
