It’s been hugely popular over the last week and now the Stacey West Lockdown Quiz is entering the final stages.
The draw was made yesterday, with Gav Hughes first out of the bag. He’ll face Jonathon Leonard in the first QF, with the winner of that meeting either Chris Wray or Steve Freestone in the semi-finals. On the other side of the draw, Sam Wray and Dave Rooke, the qualifiers from Sunday’s big event, meet each other. Waiting for the winner of that will be the victor from Dan Rawson’s tie with Kev Barwise.
I know what you’re thinking: when can I get to watch these match-ups? Well, having spoken to all competitors I can now reveal that Wednesday 8th from 7.30pm and Friday 10th from 7.30pm are the times to be watching. Why only two? Because each show is a dramatic double-header.
First up at 7.30pm tomorrow it’s the clash on the unknowns, Sam Wray and Dave Rooke coming out of the qualifiers. Immediately after that, expected to be around 8pm, we’ll welcome Gav Hughes and Jon Leonard onto the show, with two semi-finalists confirmed by the time we finish.
On Friday, Steve Freestone and Chris Wray is the opening battle, sealing one of the semi-final line ups. You won’t have to wait long for the second, because immediately after that we’ll finish with Kev Barwise and Dan Rawson. Going into the weekend, we’ll have our semi-finals, both of which I hope to complete on the same night over the weekend, leading into the big final next week.
If you’re not sure what you missed, there are chances to catch up on all of the heats below, as well as the rerun for the live draw that toom place yesterday.
