After two, live events, heats, quarter-finals, semi-finals and a pulsating final, we’ve finally crowned the Stacey West Lockdown Quiz Champion: Jon Leonard.
Jon qualified through the first live event and had to battle through heats, a quarter-final and a semi-final before arriving in the final two, facing his former Imps quiz teammate Kev Barwise. Kev had also come through three previous shows and the pair had been on a collision course throughout.
In a thrilling final that went down to the final two questions, we have crowned our winner, Jon Leonard. He takes a £50 club shop voucher (£20 of which comes courtesy of viewer Neil Carlton) and both take a copy of one of my books as a prize.
Jon has also decided he’d like to take his points total, rounded up, and make a donation to the Stacey West’s chosen charity. Between us, we’ve opted for the clubs chosen charity, the Lincs Air Ambulance, and NHS Charities together, both of which will receive half.
Thanks to Jon, Kev and everyone who took part in the quiz making it what it was. It might well be back in some form in the near future, but for now we’ll simply pass you over to the final and our champion: Jon Leonard.
