It’s that time of the year again, another book from me.
Every year since 2016/17 I’ve put out a collection of the very best articles from the site, building into a full assessment of the season. Week by week, as everything unfolds, you can find it across the pages of four books now. Match reports, player signings and issues of the day chart exactly how the season unfolded, right up to the present day.
For one week, I am offering you the chance to get your hands on a copy and do good for the club’s chosen charity, Sophie’s Journey. Before I tell you how, I wanted to let you know the site has recently set up a standing order to Sophie’s Journey, courtesy of Graham Burrell who has waived his photograph fees in order for the money to be diverted to the charity.
Also, Chris Wray has done some super work in raising over £3000 for the charity, which helps gives children with cancer holidays in two caravans they have in Mablethorpe. It’s a wonderful cause and that is why I’m going to run the following promotion.
You can get your hands on the latest book, or indeed any of the season reviews you need, with the profit from each going directly to Sophie’s Journey. That varies from book to book as print costs and postage are slightly different, but it averages at £3.50 per book going to the charity.
I’ll be running this for one week, next Friday I shall place an order with Amazon for all of the books that get ordered and send them out the following week.
Also, every copy of the 2019/20 Season Review will also come with a 6×9 print of Michael Appleton’s celebrating the last-gasp winner from Jorge Grant against Peterborough United.
What are you waiting for? Grab some holiday reading, a reminder of any of the great seasons we’ve had and help Sophie’s Journey at the same time.
