It’s time for a look back at another draw at Portman Road, or third in four visits.
The 1-1 result was probably fair looking back, and although I would have taken that at the start of the fixture, it did feel like a missed chance by the time the curtain came down on proceedings. We remain in third, catching Peterborough up, and if the season ended on PPG now, we’d be promoted. That might mean little in real terms, but it does show we are in a decent position after our blip, and a couple of good results over the coming two weeks might just help push us back into the top two.
How badly do we need the next three games to come and go though, given that finally, we will get a bit of a break after that? it’ll be a respite for the players, and for Bubs, who still travels up and down the country bringing you his photos each week.
