Harry Anderson Departs: Reaction & Memorable Matches

Lincoln 2-1 Torquay

Not sure this picture from Bubs has been published before, I’ve had to delve onto a hard drive to get it. Harry had two spells with us back in 2016/17, in the first he scored crucial goals away at Wrexham, and helped us to a 5-2 victory at Chester. He returned to help us with our final push towards promotion and his most important actions both came as a sub. He bagged in the 35th minute of our home game with Chester, a tight affair that saw him replace Lee Angol on the half-hour mark. However, his most critical input came three days later against Torquay. He started on the bench once again, replacing Josh Ginnelly with 62 minutes gone. Ruairi Keating gave Torquay the lead with 12 minutes to go, and our promotion dream looked dead and buried. Eight minutes later, Anderson was on hand to slot home adam Marriott’s parried shot, drawing us level. Immediately, the whole ground lifted and minutes later, Sam Habergham’s free-kick got the Lincoln Loco back on track.
