Former Imp Harry Anderson has found a new club – he’s signed a two-year deal with Bristol Rovers, recently relegated to League Two. It was widely believed that Harry would remain in League One, but he’s joined up with Joey Barton at a level he already has a winner’s medal for.
“We are delighted to have Harry on board,” said Barton, a firm panto villain amongst Imps supporters. “He’s a talented player, who’s spent the last season playing regularly in the league above and we’ve done really well to fend off other interest to secure his services. Harry has already won promotion out of league two with Lincoln and his experience of that and what is required will be vital to us in the coming months”
