Chippy Night a Success: New Raffle Prize Added

Burton Road Chippy did the club, and the Stacey West Development Fund proud last night, with a wonderful event that raised £1004.

Everty penny spent by their customers last night went to the fund. That was made possible by the generosity of their suppliers, as well as the dedicated staff who toiled for free to ensure maximum funds could be donated to the cause.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable night, with Sam Long, TJ Eyoma and Chris Maguire in attendance. They had a go at frying, and I hear Mags particularly impressed Des and Lesley with his knowledge of potatoes, whilst TJ wanted the pinny and hat to take home! The players posed for pictures and signed autographs, whilst we also saw other faces come and go as well. Mark Hone popped up to grab his dinner, whilst Rob Bradley also came by. Adam Chantrey came along from the club, cutting it fine to make his Kasabian gig I might add, and of course, there were all you wonderful Imps fans as well. I could have stood talking until midnight, and everyone involved with the fund can’t thank you, or Burton Road Chippy enough. What a great effort. Both Ben and I, as well as Jules from fund partner Vital Lincoln City, had a great evening.

Sorry to the team at the Chippy, I don’t have a picture of you guys on my phone (they were too busy rushing around serving up the best fish and chips in Lincoln)

The total is moving toward £7500 now, and we’re hoping to break that with another GREAT raffle prize, dropping in late. Remember, the raffle closes this weekend, so you need to act quickly if you want to bag one of the prizes (as outlined at the bottom of this piece). There’s a new one as well, donated by Imps supporter Jane Chamberlain. She’s added a match-worn, signed Joe Morrell shirt to the list of prizes, a real gem indeed, as you can see below.

If you want to win this, or any of the prizes listed below, all you have to do is put £5, (or more) into the PayPal raffle page, which is found right here.

Your ticket will buy you a chance to win one of these superb prizes!
