It was an afternoon that turned cold despite a bright start, both in the literal and metaphorical sense.
The Imps progressed in the FA Cup, but by some of the reaction, you’d think we’d gone out. As the sun came down, an upset didn’t look on the cards, but it wasn’t comfortable. In the end, Max Sanders got the goal that won it for us, and put us in the second round bag for the fourth time in six years.
