Imps Eyeing Move For Premier League Winger

The Imps are eyeing a move for winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi according to London World.

The 19-year-old was on Chelsea’s books as a youngster, but opted to join Crystal Palace in 2019. He’s has appeared twice for the Eagles, and has recently been on their pre-season tour of Singapore for further first-team experience. The club are now keen for him to be loaned out, and City are in the queue.

Earlier in the summer, it was reported the 19-year-old was on his way to MK Dons, but it seems that’s no longer the case. Charlton are eyeing a swoop for him, which would make sense given the location, whilst Oxford are also in the hunt. Oxford do have a sound complement of wingers, which could mean we’re in with a shout. The England U20 international is being allowed to choose his destination, which means a tense few days for the Imps.

Rak-Sakyi is very highly-rated at Palace and they’re keen to send him somewhere where he gets games and develops. That’s going to put us in a good place, given that he is a former England teammate of Morgan Rogers, who you’d hope speaks highly of his time here. The young winger also only needs to look at Brennan Johnson to see exactly what a move to the Imps can do for your career.

Rak-Sakyi is a right-winger, which is definitely the position we need to fill, and he’s got bags of pace and ability. It’s reported Mark Kennedy is keen on the player, who reminded Palace fans of Yannick Bolasie after he destroyed Leeds U23s a year ago. He’d be an encouraging, exciting signing, and the presence of Charlton and Oxford tells us the level of player we’re talking about.

Whether we can sell our strengths remains to be seen, but it’s certainly nice to have a transfer rumour to write about!
