Tuesday’s win over Morecambe saw the return of two key players, Tom Hopper and Ted Bishop.
Both got minutes under their belts, with Tom getting the goal that ultimately earned us the shot at penalties. Both players have been among the goals this season and as we enter the festive period, they’re not the only ones expected to return. Danny Mandroiu was in the sensational form before he picked up an injury, and Lewis Montsma will soon likely be part of the playing squad.
That presents Mark Kennedy with a problem – he’s going to have to keep the squad happy. If we remain in the Papa John’s, he can get minutes into players that way, and undoubtedly we’ll pick up knocks along the way, but on the whole, selection problems are beginning to present themselves for the Head Coach. Also, some of the returning players have not featured in the 3-4-3, so where might they play? How can MK keep everyone happy heading into a crucial period of the season?
Here’s where the returning players might fit in.
