SW Podcast Episode 261 – Reading, Derby and After The Christmas Night Out

A very delicate episode of the Stacey West Podcast for you this Sunday, as it’s been recorded after what turned out to be an excellent night following a pretty dismal game.

We look over the Reading draw, discuss whether things are becoming a missed opportunity this season, as well as look ahead to the difficult trip to Derby. We don’t have an opposition preview just yet, but we will have one on the YouTube channel shortly (Charlie is also suffering).

We also hear from Alex Mitchell’s dad, and have a sudden realisation that we’re all going to have to start “doing a Gary” and get running, thanks to a decision made on the night out that could well prove to be a fun one!

As always, subscribe to us on whatever platform you get your podcasts, and we’ll see you later in the week.

  1. Yes, got to agree with Chris Laming. “We were neither here nor there” sums it up. It was a poor show to be honest. Our form is just too unpredictable. Sadly we do not have much upfront. Jovon is just not strong or skilled enough for a key central role (though to be fair on Saturday last he didn’t have much support around him). Pity we haven’t a few more mature players who have been toughened by playing in the lower leagues to give us a better balance of age/experience. See what Skubula can do.
