Lincoln City Loan Watch – Duo Dropped By New Manager

There are currently nine City players out on loan, with some in action yesterday.

Here’s how all our out-on-loan Imps got on this weekend.

MJ Kamara – Glentoran

MJ recently forced his way into the Glentoran side, and after showing great patience in waiting, he’s been rewarded with another full 90 minutes.

His side faced a huge six-pointer against title-challengers Larne, but went down 1-0 thanks to Benji Magee’s late winner on Friday night.

Zane Okoro – Coleraine

Zane has taken a slightly different route in the NIFL, having been a key player for Coleraine, but recently finding himself getting fewer minutes.

He lasted 55 minutes on Friday night as they beat Bangor 2-0. His side were 2-0 up after 15 minutes, and held on to win, leaving them top of the table, albeit on the same points as Larne ,having played two more.

JJ McKiernan – Burton Albion

JJ McKiernan has had a tougher time at Burton Albion this season, struggling to get minutes.

He’s currently ruled out with a hamstring injury, meaning he missed their 0-0 draw with Wycombe. That result left his side 17th, just a single point outside the bottom four.

Oisin Gallagher – Boston United

Oisin is getting serious game time at Boston, and played another full game in the centre of defence as they faced Tamworth, 13th in the National League, in the FA Trophy.

The game ended up 1-1, and while Boston went out 5-4 on penalties, Gallagher netted his spot kick.

Charlie Parks – Gainsborough Trinity

Gainsborough were pegged back by Stocksbridge Park Steels yesterday, letting in an 87th-minute equaliser after taking the lead in the second half.

Charlie Parks started the game on the right side of midfield for the Holy Blues, playing the full 90. Ironically, he replaced another former Imp, Adam Crooks, in the side.

Jamie Pardington – Oxford City

Pardington wasn’t in action yesterday, as The Hoops weren’t in action.

Daniel Vanderpuye & Charlie Carlisle – Lincoln United

The Whites played the first league game of the Billy Heath era against Bradford Park Avenue, earning a point thanks to a late Connor Brown goal.

There was bad news for the two City loanees – both were left out of the squad completely.

It will surprise nobody to hear Alan Power was booked.

Bola Okewoye – Grimsby Borough

The Wilderness Boys were away at Brighouse yesterday and won 3-2.

Bola didn’t get a start, but he came on with five minutes to go for a little cameo.
