‘Imperfect Focus’ is a 150-page photo-book straight from the lens of photographer Graham Burrell. He’s collated hundreds of pictures of players, grounds and fans over the years and he’s selected over 400 of the very best for the book.
Along with Gary Hutchinson’s narration this wonderful book winds its way through Lincoln City’s recent history, from administration to Cardiff, from the play-offs to relegation and from Guiseley to Arsenal. It’s been a torrid journey with highs and lows, heroes and villains and they’re all captured here in the perfect Christmas 2018 present.
Whether you’re looking for legends such as Richard Butcher and Simon Yeo, or lesser known Imps such as Kevin Ellison and Arnaud Mendy, they’re all included in glorious full-colour. 10″ x 8″ was the only size that could truly do justice to some of these great photos and great moments. Some might find big prints of Steve Tilson frightening, but in order to do our recent history justice he had to be included. So did Keith Alexander, the man that restored pride in a City that had forgotten what it’s football club meant. There’s also a special section for last season, celebrating everything Danny, Nicky and the boys did for the club.
The first 200 orders will also receive a limited edition print of one of the current squad too. Be quick though, before this has even gone live we’ve had people registering interest.
The books will be available for collection in Lincoln on Saturday December 16th, the day we entertain Accrington Stanley.
10% of profits from all sales will go to the Future Imps Fund, something both Bubs and Gary passionately support.
