Big Vadaine has been a thorn in our side over the years, but he scored some big goals back in 2012/13. Our 5-1 win secured National League survival in style, with Oliver grabbing a second-half hat trick.
By the way, Hyde had Scott Hogan, who went on to move for millions, Shay McCartan, Phil Jevons and Matty Blinkhorn in their squad that day – pretty impressive.
Colin Larkin v Dartford 08/12/12
I dare bet that if I’d asked you to name all the scorers on this list, Larkin would have been last. I also dare bet if I’d asked you to pick on player that definitely had a penalty in his hat trick, it would have been Larkin.
Well, he didn’t. He hit three first half goals away at Dartford to secure us a big win in the 2012/13 season. He also hit a last-minute winner in the return match in February from the spot.
