Wilshere Leads the Race for Luton Job

Off the field, managerial speculation surrounds Luton Town following Matt Bloomfield’s departure. Former Arsenal and England midfielder Jack Wilshere has become the bookmakers’ favourite to take charge, leading the market at around evens.

Wilshere, who has built a growing reputation in youth and assistant coaching roles since retiring, is viewed as a progressive candidate capable of restoring energy at Kenilworth Road. Interim boss Alex Lawless, Russell Martin, Chris Coleman and Bernd Storck are also among those linked, but Wilshere’s odds have shortened significantly over the past 48 hours. Luton’s board are expected to make an appointment soon as they aim to revive an inconsistent League One campaign.

The good news is that somehow, Michael Skubala has been overlooked by the bookies!
