Mike was the first of the seven featured strikers to appear for the Imps, making his debut against Boston at York Street in early August.

He was already entering the final stages of his career when he signed for City, he knew Keith from their time together at Northwich Victoria.

Upon joining Keith remarked; “Adie’s a very good player and did very well for me at Northwich. If we get him fit I’m sure he’ll push our other strikers for a place in the starting team.”

After starting at Man City, Mike slowly filtered down the divisions until Keith pulled him back into the Football League and three goals in his first seven games suggested we might have found a new hero

He then nothing through until New Year and played his last game, as he had his first, against Boston on New Year’s Day.

One of his goals did bring us three points, a 68th-minute strike at Shrewsbury was added to by Ben Sedgemore to bring home a 2-1 win.

Even if his entire Lincoln career is nothing more than a goal in a 2-1 win then so be it, that 2-1 contributed to our first ever day out at a national stadium. Adie Mike played his part in that, no matter how small.
