Loan Player of the Year – Brooke Norton-Cuffy (6.66)

Few expected the Arsenal player to explode onto the scene as he did, but he snatched the right back position from Regan Poole and made it his own. He has a fearless style, leggy and languid but with real penetration. He was excellent against Wycombe, and one of the few players who seemed likely to make a difference against dire Doncaster. When the Imps played well, he played well, and whilst he might be defensively a little naive, that will doubtless come with more matches. I do feel for Lewis Fiorini here; he would have been my shout for the award, but it wasn’t to be as he played ruing the really bad times, and just the post-Christmas inconsistent times.
