City’s third-choice stopper, Jamie Pardington, has joined long-term collaborators Peterborough Sports on loan.
Pardington, who signed for the Imps in the summer and has made two senior appearances, will link up with the Turbines for 28 days. He will join City team-mate MJ Kamara, who is already on loan with the National League North side.
In the past, the likes of Hayden Cann and Oisin Gallagher have had succesful loan spells at Lincoln Road (honestly, that’s their ground name) and it’s hoped Jamie will get some game time between now and next month.
“We have an excellent relationship with Peterborough Sports and we are happy to help them cover the recent injury to their goalkeeper for their next few games,” Imps director of football Jez George said. “This suits us as well as Jamie needs some football, so it’s a win/win.
“Jamie will continue to train with us and we should highlight the contribution he has made all season to the goalkeeping department and the overall environment through his consistently high standards in training, his mentality, commitment and support for the other goalkeepers despite so few opportunities to play. He is a top professional and an outstanding character.”

Pardington started his career at Rushall Olympic before signing for Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2018. During his time at Wolves, he had loan spells at Bath City, Stratford Town, Dulwich Hamlet, and Mansfield Town. After being released in 2022, he joined Grimsby Town on a short-term deal but didn’t make a first-team appearance. Pardington then moved to Larne in Northern Ireland, where he debuted on the final day of the 2022–23 season before being released.
In 2023, he returned to England with Cheltenham Town, spending part of the season on loan at Truro City. He made his Cheltenham debut on the final day of the 2023–24 season, stepping in for the injured Luke Southwood as the Robins were relegated. Pardington was released after that campaign and signed a two-year deal with Lincoln City in June 2024. He made his Lincoln debut in November 2024, playing against Manchester City U21, making his second appearance in the EFL Trophy against Morecambe.
