Attention Runners: Stacey West Running Shirt To Be Released

It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for – our Stacey West running shirt is finally ready to be released.

It seems crazy that two years ago, I was struggling through the Couch to 5k, aiming at doing a single 10k, and today, we’re releasing our first piece of site merchandise based on running. It’s the first piece of merchandise we’ve released on general sale full stop, so for it to be fitness-themed does feel a little bonkers.

We’ve teamed up with the guys from Bailgate Clothing and Fox Electrical, who have been amazingly supportive to bring us a great deal on the running tops. Before we go on, we ought to stress one thing – every penny of profit from the shirts is going to the Lincoln City Foundation. We’re raising money for them through our collective efforts in finishing the upcoming 10k, and we’re keen to get a four-figure sum into their bank account. Our current total is £711. You’ve all been so generous, and now we’re going to add the profit from the shirts to that as well.

The Shirt

The shirts look and feel great. They’re black and red, 100% polyester weighing 140gsm. They are the permanent wicking fabric that keeps you dry and comfortable. They come emblazoned with our brand logo and that of Fox Electrical and Bailgate Clothing, the local businesses backing our running challenge. On the back is the podcast’s favourite question, Do You Run?

The cost is £20 per piece, and they come in Xs through to 3XL. As a guide, I am an XL in the current club home kit but an L in these ego-boosting shirts!

If you wish to buy one (or more), please send me an email at gazhutch88@gmail.com with your chosen size. Once I have a list of people who are interested, I will provide details for a bank transfer, so every penny of profit goes to the Foundation, rather than some to PayPal!

I’m going to be taking a short break from the site from Friday onwards, and while we’re looking at ordering around Wednesday the 27th, I may seek to get the order in before Friday to guarantee good representation at the 10k! If you’re quick, that could mean you have your hands on them before the end of the month.

Alternatively, if you wish to support our run without one of these tremendous pieces of running kit, you can still sponsor us here – a man with a metal back, a blind man, a (once upon a time) unfit man, and Chris, all looking to finish the 10k as a group. It’s been quite a journey so far!
