Popular winger Jack Muldoon is only just recovering from an early season injury that has ruled him out for the last month..
A source close to the player said today that Jack had fractured his toe just five minutes into the new season at Woking. He pushed on and played the next four games before being taken out of the side for treatment.
Jack allegedly even had to have pain-killing injections such has been the impact of the injury, however he is now fit and ready to start recapturing the form he showed throughout last season.
His absence since then has been to allow his toe to heal and for him to regain match fitness. A low key return against Barrow confirmed that he is finally where he needs to be almost two months into the season.
News of Muldoon returning to full fitness will be a welcome boost for manager and fans alike after a tough week. Both home games last week we looked far less creative than in previous matches and with Macauley Bonne hurt late on against Barrow we were looking a little thin up front for the tricky trip to Dover.
There’s no doubt a fully fit Jack Muldoon will give us extra options and more pace going forward which is what we will need against a resolute and determined Dover side.
