Shortly I’ll be telling you how to go about voting and ensuring little Lincoln City have a chance in these national blogging awards. Firstly though a thank you.
Some of you may know that I’ve been through a difficult time personally over the last two months and writing my blog has been therapeutic and confidence boosting for me. I never expected to get a blog about Lincoln City to the finals of a national award, and to know so many people take the time to read and re-tweet my blogs is both overwhelming and humbling. Thank you.
So it’s on to round two and everyone who voted for me can vote again, which means you’re up. The first round votes will be added to the second round votes to decide the winner which will be announced at Old Trafford on November 17th.
We are up against some pretty big hitters. There’s at least two Liverpool blogs in the best new blog category as well as Man United and a West Ham blog, so to put Lincoln City (and me) on top of the heap it’s going to take a monumental effort. That said we made the finals so there’s no reason why we can’t kick this season off with some silverware in mid November!
There are a couple of ways you can register your vote. You can click on the link below and select ‘The Stacey West Blog’ from the drop down menu under the Best New Blog Category. All you need is an email address to vote.
If you do Twitter it couldn’t be easier either – just click on the link below to be taken straight to a tweet to vote
Please take the time to vote. This is a prestigious blogging award and for us to get to the final is amazing in itself. For a Lincoln City blog to win the main award it will take all of our collective input, but hey we made it this far so anything is possible!
I won’t be spamming you but I’ll put those links at the bottom of every blog I do in between now and the voting closing in November. I urge you to vote, I urge your Nan to vote and I urge you wife to vote as well. If your cat has an email address I’m sure they’ll be voting Stacey West as the best new football blog!
We’re all Lincoln, aren’t we?
Up the Imps.
