With the league off the agenda for a few days, all eyes are turned on our historic FA Cup 5th round tie at Turf Moor next Saturday. Even with limited tickets available, over 3,000 Imps will be making their way across the country to watch us in the last 16 for the first time in 100 years.
For those lucky enough to bag a ticket there is an executive coach planned from Lincoln that still has seats available. You might recall my tales from there when I travelled for our third round tie back in January. Well the same guys are running the same bus, and although I won’t be present it is still a great opportunity to get there and back in good company.
The Impvasion #2 bus will depart Lincoln between 6am and 6.30am on Saturday, and after enjoying a nice quiet (!) pub stop somewhere en-route it will arrive in Burnley between 10-10.30am.
The price for this hassle free trip is £22 per person, and at the moment there are still seats available. If you’re interested please contact me firstname.lastname@example.org and I’ll pass your details on to former Boston and Lincoln striker Warren Ward, who is running the buses.
Seats are filling up quickly though, so be fast.
