SW Quiz #195 – Two squads combined

If you’re making your journey to Wembley today, this is a good one for the car. You’ll have a mix of young and old, you’ll need it.

Tomorrow we play in our first ever Wembley Cup final, but technically it isn’t our first major stadium final, nor our first domestic cup final. In 2003 we graced the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, losing 5-2 to Bournemouth. Before that, we reached the Football League Trophy final in 1982/83 losing 3-2 to Millwall at Sincil Bank.

Two squads, twenty years apart. There’s some great names played in those games, some obscure and a couple best forgotten.

How many of each match day squad can you remember? They don’t have to have got on the pitch, but how many of Keith’s 16 man squad and Colin’s 12 man squad can you recall from my rather vague clues? In some instances I’ll give you the year, in others you’ll have to work it out yourself.

As it’s meant to be a journey quiz, one for debating, I’ll even give you fifteen minutes to get the answers.

Good luck and safe journey.
