City have been named as one of the sides looking to sign Blackburn Rovers youngster Lewis Travis on loan this winter, as reported by FLW via HITC Sports.
The 21-year old is struggling to break into the first team picture at Ewood Park and is thought to be one leaving in January for some senior experience.
City already have Scott Wharton, but they’re now also thought to be hunting the former Liverpool youth player as well.
We’re not alone in the chase, Portsmouth, Blackpool, Wycombe and Plymouth are also mentioned in the report, but it’s interesting to see our names tagged on the end.
Travis is a right-sided player who can operate from right back, on to right midfield and is comfortable in the centre as well. He’s certainly one who is highly-rated at Ewood Park, but he desperately needs first team football to add to his development.
For now, that is all the information emerging but rest assured, if we hear anything further we’ll be sure to bring it to you.
