2nd: Sam Surridge
Surridge is a player I really like, I’ve seen him for both Yeovil and Oldham now and on both occasions he screamed ‘talent’ at me. Not literally, that’d be weird.
He was excellent at Oldham after Ishmael Miller was sent off there in our 1-1 draw, he dealt well with our centre backs and kept us thinking about their attack even though they were one short.
He’s a threat in the box, but works incredibly hard outside it as well, which would be great for the role in behind Akinde.
There’s also plenty of talk of Danny being close to Eddie Howe, so why not make use of that? We had their keeper last January, let’s pip Oxford this time around to this talented lad.
