No Thanks – Nathan Blissett
Is should be thanking them for Blissett, surely? After all, they were good enough to loan him to us in our time of need.
Sure, it was lovely. A bit like you needing a car, so me loaning you my X reg Escort with no tax, no MOT and a dodgy starter motor, then expecting thanks.
He was (still is) the nephew of former England international Luther, once nicknamed Luther Miss It. Nathan took after his uncle.
He signed for the Imps the same day that Liam Hearn decided he wanted some time at Barrow. He had a bit of pedigree, scored goals at Kidderminster and to a lesser extent at Bristol Rovers, but he never looked at ease in a Lincoln shirt.
It was intended he play off Matt Rhead in the role vacated by Hearn. Two draws and a defeat in his three blank outings convinced Chris Moyses that there was no point in chasing the player further.
Most recently he’s been playing for Macclesfield with limited success, although he was a title winner there in 2018.
