The voting for this World Cup of Kits has been very impressive, with over 6,000 votes thus far.
We’re now down to the last sixteen, where eight group winners come up against eight runner’s up. Without further ado, lets look at the first Last 16 ties.
Game 1
Recent shirts have done well, but one is going out here. Up first, the winner of Group A, this season’s third shirt which got a debut this weekend against Accrington. It is pitched against one of the ‘pub shirts’ that have proven popular in recent years, last season’s away shirt. Which is your favourite?

Game 2
This was genuinely drawn using bits of paper and everything, which makes this retro clashes one of the biggest ties of the round. On the left, the green away shirt already produced by a retro firm, whilst on the right is a little-known Adidas effort from the seventies. Which are you going to plump for?

Game 3
One of the biggest surprises for me was the lilac shirt on the left winning its group. It is pitched against the 2002/03 away shirt, the play-off final shirt which maybe appeals because of the era, not the design. Which will be going through to the quarter finals?

Game 4
Finally, another of this season’s shirts, coming up against the blue and yellow classic from 1996/97. which is going to get your vote, the retro classic or the stylish pub shirt of the modern era? If you had asked me before the competition started, I would have said the blue and yellow all day long, but this season’s away is proving to be very popular indeed.
