The Underrated Strikers of Keith Alexander

I’m finishing on a loan player, and because we had so many it seems fitting. Logan was yet another who played in 2005/06, a season vastly underrated for strikers. It was Peterborough, again, doing us a solid, lending us the striker between November and January. He had bagged a couple for them and even though we were in the same league, they let him move to us on loan. He left around the time Keith was controversially suspended, and maybe would have signed for us permanently if that hadn’t happened.

I liken him a bit to Spencer Weir-Daley, he had that cockiness about him, a swagger that I think could have served him well in red and white. He only scored two from eight starts, one as we beat Chester 3-1 in the game Marcus Richardson scored for the opposition. he then bagged a memorable winner away at Oxford United. Again, like Robinson, I guess a big goal cements his status on this list more than maybe some other strikers, but I also feel he went on to prove his worth. He appeared for Exeter City between 2007 and 2012, scoring 47 goals in 95 league starts.
