Former Players Association Announced Golf Day

The Imps Former Players Association are giving you the chance to put your skills to the test against a host of famous Lincoln faces later this month.

On July 25th, the group are offering you the chance to go along and play at Blakeney Golf Club, with the first tee at 11am. There’s a bacon/sausage sandwich provided on arrival and refreshments on hole 13.

Now, you must forgive me as I’m not a golf player, but the format of the day will be a four-ball Stableford with all scores counting on the 18th. I’m sure you know what that means if you have clubs in your garage! Entry is £35 per person or £140 per team, and there will be trophies for the winners, nearest to the pin and longest drive.

The event is in support of Breast Cancer Now, and there will be a raffle that will include a signed FPA shirt, Legend’s Lounge tickets and much more.

If you’re interested, there’s a QR code you can scan on the poster below, or you can email fpa@theredimps.com to register. If you don’t play, but wish to be involved, you can sponsor a hole for £50. Again, get in touch with the email address.

It promises to be a great day for you golfers, and all for a good cause as well.
