I’m surprised this didn’t rank higher – it is my personal highlight of 2022 without a doubt. It’s the same story as Barnsley and Derby – we hadn’t beaten the Owls since 1978, and we’d barely played them in the years between. In my eyes, they’re a big club, top-flight material, and we came into the game having lost three on the bounce, two of which (Gillingham and Doncaster) were season low points. I didn’t give us a chance against Wednesday.

Lewis Fiorini was the catalyst for proving me wrong – he was excellent as City fought hard. John Marquis got us off to a brilliant start, but Saido Berahino levelled to make it 1-1 at the break. However, Brooke Norton-Cuffy added a second, and Marquis killed the game off to send us all home ecstatic. The bumper crowd certainly helped – 10,283 helped create a memorable atmosphere.
