Last night was huge – not because we signed Saxon Earley, or because we let Jay Benn go, but because four chancers from the Stacey West Podcast kept hundreds of you entertained for more than four hours.
I appreciate not all of you can listen to four hours of YouTube footage to hear what was said, but how about just over an hour with only the very best bits? I thought so.
Ben kindly clipped this up deep into the evening last night, and that means you can listen to the people that really matter – Kieran Walker and Jez George.
Firstly, Kieran came on to chat about the procedure the Imps have in place for medicals. We originally planned small video segments which would allow the hosts to stretch their legs, make a drink, and go to the loo, but as soon as this started, I knew it couldn’t be missed, so I skipped a brew. It’s a fascinating insight into the depth the club goes into around injuries and not to be missed.
Later on, Jez George came on and offered his candid insight into the recent window. It was outrageously good, to a point where Chris forgot he was meant to ask a question and just got hooked on what Jez was saying. He gave us some insight into the club’s business including some fresh stuff we may not know.
You’ll have to listen to find out what, but it turns out Morgan Whittaker wasn’t the only big-name player we missed out on one deadline day – a player who just moved for £18 million was posied to join us as well! Jez also talked about Tom Hamer’s (none) fee, JJ McKiernan’s compensation, and a host of other fascinating and insightful topics.
