6. Jack Marriott – 0.57 G/90 (Wrexham)
Jack Marriott added a clinical edge to Wrexham’s frontline during the 2024/25 campaign, scoring at a rate of 0.57 goals per 90 minutes over 940 minutes of action. Despite not being a regular starter in every game, Marriott made the most of his opportunities, often popping up with important goals.
His low centre of gravity and quick turn of pace allowed him to operate effectively in and around the penalty area. Marriott’s finishing instincts remained sharp, and his ability to sniff out half-chances gave Wrexham another dimension in attack. His impact in limited minutes was a key subplot in the club’s solid season.
5. Jay Stansfield – 0.59 G/90 (Birmingham City)
Jay Stansfield continued his development into one of League One’s top young forwards during the 2024/25 season. Playing 2,884 minutes for Birmingham City, he finished with a goals-per-90 rate of 0.59. The 22-year-old blended youthful energy with mature decision-making, leading the line with confidence and flair. Stansfield’s movement off the ball was particularly effective, pulling defenders out of position and creating space for himself and teammates.
He also contributed creatively, linking well with fellow attackers and delivering in key moments. With his trajectory on the rise, bigger opportunities may soon beckon, but for now, Birmingham fans will cherish his impact.
