Each year, we get people running down their 1-24 for League One.
Some, like those by Gab Sutton and NTT20, are met with delight. Others, run down by club-specific sites, are good for fans of that club, but eventually, they all begin to merge into one. We’re not so arrogant here that we believe our 1-24 is something people eagerly await.
That’s why we don’t do a 1-24 as such. Instead, we offer people a chance to give their predictions to us, and we’ll create an overall SW 1-24. That’s not my opinion, of Chris’s, but an amalgamation of everyone.
It’s quite simple, but to cut down on the work this year, we’re taking predictions from Patreons only. If you’re reading this, you’re a patron of the site, so thank you!
I won’t be able to chase up errors, and I’ve literally wasted an hour trying to follow a prompt to set up a JavaScript instruction compatible with Google Sheets (which almost resulted in a broken laptop and a custodial sentence for criminal damage), so it’s ad hoc. I’ll be putting it all on a sheet, and that means one thing: my time will be gobbled up.
Therefore, please do check your entry before you submit, because if you have two teams in 13th (for example) I won’t really have time to chase, so I may have to discount the whole prediction.
Might I suggest writing your 1-24 first, and then copying it out onto the form? Then just write the placing of the team onto the form and you’re away!
I’ll leave this open until Thursday, and drop our collective predictions on the eve of the new season.
