EFL Fantasy League: Classe Sorensen Leads The Way In Gameweek 7

Credit Graham Burrell

Gameweek 7 produced a big shake-up in the Stacey West League, with D. Barlow’s Classe Sorensen storming into top spot thanks to an 80-point haul.

Barlow’s squad did the damage with key contributions across the board. Sonny Bradley’s 16 points, Davis Keillor-Dunn’s 20 and Aaron Drinan’s 14 gave the side a powerful spine. That left Classe Sorensen on 80 points, enough to lead the Stacey West table in GW7.

Hot on their heels are Callumimp (C. Anderson) with a strong 76-point week, and IMPS 352 (D. Rickell), who were third with 75. D. Denton’s Sonny In The Bank and CJ Leffler’s Makama Chameleon are level on a total of 449, and just a single point separates them in the week.

Further back, I finally featured! Withcall and I, my team, hit 78, mainly thanks to Sonny Bradley. The usually dependable Jaze Kabia let me down, as well as Jack Rudoni and Coventry City.

Finally, Jovon’s Witnesses (L. Waters) remain one of the highest total scorers overall but were eighth in the week after a 67-point return.

My team game week 7

How It Stacks Up

When compared to the overall points tally, it’s clear game week 7 was one for the fringe teams. R. Rosandy’s Senjamalam sit top with 486 points, 52 clear of Classe Sorensen. Giants of John O’Gaunts (J. Leonard, 475) and Jovon’s Witnesses (465) also feature prominently, showing that Waters’ side is a genuine overall contender, even if they slipped in game week 7.

Anderson’s Callumimp (458) and Denton’s Sonny In The Bank (449) are both inside the top five, underlining the quality at the sharp end of our competition. Leffler’s Makama Chameleon (449) also sneaks into the top six overall.

By contrast, Barlow’s game week 7 winners are only 14th overall, while my top ten finish was a fluke, sitting 34th overall.
