City travel to Orient on Saturday, looking to register a sixth win in seven away fixtures.
We’re unbeaten in six on our travels, and prior to our defeat in February, unbeaten at Brisbane Road in 25 years.
Having lost that record to Charlie Kelman’s late goal, we’ll be hoping to start another with three points against Ritchie Wellens’ side.
Michael Skubala has outlined how he sees Orient, and the test that awaits us in East London.
“I think they’re a very aggressive team with the ball. They can flip you down the sides, which is a real problem. They can dominate the ball but can also be fast, forward, and direct. They’ve got different ways of playing.

“I remember them last season not starting so well and then reaching the play-off final. They’re a good team, coached well, so we’ve got to be on it. They’ve taken points against Stockport and Bolton at home this season, beat Wigan, and I watched them live against Doncaster — they were really good.”
Of course, after last season’s slow start, they stormed to a play-off place, so little can be read into their current league position. However, as with any game, Michael is confident we can find a pattern to win the game.
“We’ll have to be on it to get points, but I also think our strengths can really get after their weaknesses. It’s going to be a tough game there; they probably haven’t quite found their flow yet away from home, but at home they’re strong.
“We want to go there, put on a show, and put in a performance we think can get three points.”
The last time we took three points, there was Michael Skubala’s first win as City manager, in the rearranged fixture.
Before that, our last win there was in 2004, when Gary Taylor-Fletcher, released by Orient, bagged a brace as we were en route to the play-offs.
