Championship Forward Signs Boston United Extension

Boston United have secured an important short-term boost in attack with confirmation that Norwich City forward Ken Aboh will remain at the Jakemans Community Stadium until January.

The young striker arrived at the start of November and has made four appearances so far, used largely as an energetic option across the front line. A goal has not yet come, although his mobility and willingness to press have offered a useful dimension to the Pilgrims’ work out of possession.

Aboh, 21, is regarded as a promising talent at Norwich following a prolific spell in their youth system and the signing of a new contract in July. He turned professional in 2022 and has gradually been exposed to senior football through a series of loans. Last season brought contrasting spells in League One with Stevenage and in League Two with Colchester, each offering insight into the physical and tactical demands of the EFL.

His move to Stevenage in August 2024 came with strong praise from Alex Revell, who described himself as delighted to secure the forward. Aboh featured immediately before returning to Carrow Road in January. A further loan followed with Colchester in February, rounding off a campaign that strengthened his senior experience.

The switch to Boston, initially a one-month arrangement, has now been extended to give him more time to settle and influence their National League campaign. The Pilgrims have tailed off in recent weeks, and the decision to keep Aboh will add options to their front line over a challenging Christmas period.

This extension also provides continuity for the player after a year defined by movement between clubs. A settled run of games in a competitive environment should serve him well as he continues his development, while Boston gain a forward with pedigree, appetite and a point to prove.
