League One Latest: Wrexham In For League One Star, Reading Agree Huge Deal

Wycombe look to add before transfer deadline

Wycombe Wanderers are trying to remain active in the transfer market, head coach Michael Duff has said.

With the January window closing on Monday, February 2, Wycombe have so far added just one player, Luke Harris, who arrived on loan from Fulham. Despite links to several targets, Duff has reiterated that any new arrivals must be ready to contribute immediately.

Speaking after Wycombe’s 2-0 win over Wigan Athletic, Duff admitted that the process has been frustrating, acknowledging that deals have been close but not yet completed. He stressed that his focus remains on improving the current squad while recruitment discussions continue.

Midfielder Aaron Morley has been strongly linked, with Bolton Wanderers reportedly receiving a bid. Wycombe face competition from Luton Town and Oxford United for the 25-year-old, who previously worked with former Chairboys boss Matt Bloomfield.
