Evatt plays down further Blackpool incomings
Blackpool boss Ian Evatt has suggested there are no imminent further signings, despite recent injury concerns.
The Seasiders have already added Kamarl Grant, Joel Randall and Michael Obafemi on loan this month, while winger Scott Banks has returned to St. Pauli before joining Barnsley, freeing up a loan slot.
Following injuries to captain George Honeyman and loanee Randall in the 2-1 defeat to Stockport County, Evatt admitted the situation would be reviewed. However, he said clarity was still needed on the severity of those issues before any decisions are made.
Evatt also explained that Blackpool’s recruitment focus has shifted toward players suited to a wing-back system, rather than their previous 4-4-2 setup, with both short-term and longer-term solutions being considered.
