A Lincoln City XI, Championship Style

CM: Tom Bayliss – Victor Torp (Coventry City) 76.58%

I went with Tom Bayliss instead of Ivan here, because Ivan also profiled closest to Billy Mitchell. Tom’s profile is different, and you can see that in his comparison to a player at one of his former clubs, Coventry City.

Signed from Sarpsborg 08, Torp adds technical polish to Coventry’s midfield. Comfortable receiving under pressure, he can operate centrally or further forward, linking phases with intelligent movement.

CAM: Jack Moylan – Macaulay Langstaff (Millwall) 67.73%

This will surprise some, because Langstaff is a centre forward, that’s how he made his name. In recent weeks, he’s operated behind Coburn or Ivanović in the same role Jack Moylan plays. Even then, the profile match is low, proving there isn’t anyone quite like Magic Jack.

A prolific scorer in non-league and League Two before stepping up, Langstaff earned his move through consistent output rather than hype. His game is built on timing, sharp movement and an eye for goal inside the box.

LW: Ben House – Kyle Joseph (Hull City) 86.49%

Another great pick from a piece of software rapidly becoming my favourite ever. Like House, Joseph is known by many as a striker, and like House, he’s been playing in various positions behind a main striker. Unlike Ben, he has also played as the nine.

A Scotland youth international, another similarity, who broke through at Wigan, Joseph’s career has included time at Swansea before his switch to Hull. Mobile and energetic, he offers pressing intensity as well as penalty area presence.
