Lincoln City and Wales Under-15 international Noah Simmons has joined Lincoln United on a youth loan as he continues his development in senior football.
The left-sided defender makes the short move across the city, having already gained experience out on loan earlier in the season, and the move should offer him a chance to get more minutes at a competitive level as he continues his progress through the ranks at Sincil Bank.
Simmons has been part of the Lincoln City setup since the Under-12 age group and is regarded as a versatile option across the left side of defence. Comfortable at both full-back and wing-back, he is known for his pace and physicality, traits that allow him to contribute both defensively and when pushing forward down the flank.
This is not Simmons’ first taste of senior football away from the club. Earlier in the campaign, he spent time out on loan with Loughborough Students and Skegness Town, where he gained valuable experience in men’s football.

During his time in the academy, Simmons established himself as a regular for the Under-18s, making 26 appearances during the 2024/25 campaign and even getting on the scoresheet with a well-taken goal against Bradford City, a strike that earned him a nomination for the club’s Goal of the Month award at the time.
The move to the Whites should provide a good environment for him to continue learning the senior game. They have regularly provided opportunities for young Lincoln players to gain experience, and several academy players have benefited from similar moves in recent seasons. They’re enjoying a decent season under Dave Frecklington, after a turbulent start and an ill-fated spell under Billy Heath.
For Lincoln United, the signing adds pace and depth on the left side of defence, while for City it represents another step in the long-term development of a player who has been at the club since childhood and is now beginning to gain experience in the senior game.
