The Stacey West’s League One Show – Cardiff Up, Rotherham & Northampton Down!

The Stacey West’s League One Show is back for episode 11, as Charlie and Chris take you through the main talking points as the end of the season approaches.

Cardiff City were promoted back to the Championship on Saturday following a dramatic equaliser from Exeter City goalkeeper Jack Bycroft against Stockport County. We break down how the Bluebirds returned to the second tier at the first time of asking, and what that could mean for next season.

At the other end of League One, Rotherham United and Northampton Town have both been relegated. We take a deeper look at where it went wrong, the key moments that shaped their campaigns, and what both clubs need to get right over the summer.

There was some managerial news for a side in the middle pack in the division. Barnsley have confirmed that Conor Hourihane will be leaving at the end of the season. We discuss what that decision means following a disappointing year, and what might the 26/27 campaign bring.

As always, please give the latest episode a listen on all the usual platforms, and let us know if there’s anything you want us to discuss.
