The dust has now settled on our final home match of the 2025/26 season. Next time we’re at the Bank, the ground will look different, and Lincoln City will be in the Championship.
On the Stacey West Player Rater, you were busy picking your top man. Our pundits all went for George Wickens, who was quite surprised when we told him on Sunday night. Our fans, all rating through our Player Rater widget, have gone for somebody different.
He scored a wonder goal, he tormented Doncaster in midweek, and it seems he can do no wrong. In front of the watching Ireland manager, your Stacey West Man of the Match for the 4-3 win against Wycombe was none other than Jack Moylan.
Jack did have a superb game, and his goal will go down as one to remember. It was a late entry in the Goal of the Season competition at the Awards Dinner, and for 99% of other EFL clubs, it would surely have been a winner. Sadly for Jack, we have Adam Reach.
Jack played 73 minutes, and although he didn’t dribble quite as much as against Doncaster, he was still effective when he got on the ball. He terrified players, and Wycombe did struggle with him for the first half. He perhaps faded a little in the second, as the whole team did, but we still won 4-3, and his goal gave us the leg up for that.

Who else got good ratings from you? Once again, there were plenty to choose from.
| Player | Rating |
|---|---|
| 🥇 Jack Moylan | 8.83 |
| 🥈 Conor McGrandles | 8.38 |
| 🥉 George Wickens | 8.26 |
| Reeco Hackett | 8.18 |
| Tendayi Darikwa | 8.09 |
We weren’t entirely wrong with Wickens, whose command of the area in the first half was matched by his shot-stopping in the second. Darikwa’s late surge forward for the final Imps goal doubtless contributed to him coming in the top five, while Hackett’s brace was enough to see him sit fourth.
Conor McGrandles, closing in on 200 outings for the Imps, took second place without goals, but he did get an assist. I thought the ball to Reeco was a loose pass, but looking back, McGrandles assisted with a tackle. That’s pure Scottish Kaka, and while fans won’t likely have spotted it in real time, it’s nice for him to get on the assist sheet.
