World Cup fever is gripping, well, the world, and yet still some aren’t on board.
Gary once loved World Cups, but until 4 pm on June 7th, couldn’t name England’s group opponents. Emily, on the other hand, has the wallchart ready, so for the first 15 minutes, Emily tries to get Gary into World Cup mode.
After that, it’s a trip down memory lane as we think back to our favourite World Cup moments, before having a vibe-based chat about 2026, including how to correctly pronounce Curaçao, and why Gary wants Germany to win, if England don’t. Yeah, Germany.
