Lincoln City in the Championship seems like a great time to join our EFL Fantasy Football League.
Last season, John Dexter won our league, with Sparky Val winning the play-offs, so this season, some of the team will be hoping to hunt them down. Val is the one to watch, finishing third in the proper season, with Jon Leonard in second place.
It all kicks off this weekend, so you have five days to pick your team and get involved. The details are below.

What is Fantasy EFL?
Fantasy EFL gives players the chance to build a seven-player squad alongside two EFL clubs each Gameweek. There are around 2,000 players from all 72 EFL clubs to choose from, with three formations available and no player prices or transfer limits. You can select no more than two players from the same club in a single Gameweek, while each club can only be picked five times across the entire season.
Captains score double points, with a vice-captain taking over if the original selection does not play, while the rolling lockout system freezes players and clubs once their fixture kicks off. Teams automatically roll over from one Gameweek to the next, although managers can make unlimited changes beforehand, and there are two chips available during the season. Max Captain automatically awards the captaincy to your highest-scoring player and can be used twice, while One Club allows you to ignore the usual restriction on players from the same club for a single Gameweek.
There are monthly and seasonal prizes on offer, including Classic Football Shirts vouchers, Puma footballs and Fantasy EFL merchandise. The highest-scoring manager in each individual club league will also win a season ticket for the 2027/28 campaign, while the overall champion receives two hospitality places for the Championship Play-Off Final, a behind-the-scenes Wembley tour and hotel accommodation. Other leading finishers can win tickets for the Championship, League One and League Two Play-Off Finals.
