The Lincoln City Players Nearing Appearance Milestones In 2026/27

50 Appearances

The prolific striker might make his 50 appearances, but it’s going to be a huge ask. Coming back from an ACL is tough, especially when we’ve gone up a level and will boast as many strikers or forward players as I think we’ve ever had.

He does only need five appearances, and with 16 goals he has a similar ratio to Ike Bird (18 in 45) and Jack Grainger (14 in 45).

Ivan Varfolomeev – 38

Injuries or suspensions aside, Ivan should hit the 50 appearance mark early. I’d imagine we’ll be playing him as much as possible, given ESC rules, and while he is level with Billy Knott and Josh Ginnelly now, he’ll soon be racing up the charts.

Best guess? If he doesn’t play in the cup game, it could be Birmingham at home, and if he does play in the cup, he could hit 50 against Burnley, potentially in the same game George Wickens hits 100.

Adam Reach – 36

The scorer of our first Championship goal, Adam Reach, should be knocking on the door of 50 by the time we get to Christmas. The earliest he could get there, with the current fixtures, is Watford away on November 3rd.

Reach might have another appearance chart in mind. Currently, he has 376 Championship outings, leaving him 33rd in the all-time chart. To break the top 30, he needs just five, while he needs 34 to reach the top 20.

If he plays 12 more matches, he’ll pass a former Imp in the Championship all-time appearance charts, Jason Shackell, on 388.
