The Stacey West’s Championship Show – Early Pressure In The Dugout

The first month of the season is over, and there are already managers under pressure, as discussed on the latest episode of The Stacey West’s Championship Show.

With a new intro and graphics for the first time in the 26/27 season, there is plenty to talk about from the second tier of English football. Charlie and Kyle are here to consider the three managers under pressure after disappointing results for their respective sides over the weekend.

Firstly, Mark Robins looks to avoid the unwanted accolade of being the first manager sacked this term. His Stoke City side sit bottom of the division after three games, with various reports stating his job is already under threat. Paul Heckingbottom at Preston North End has endured a similarly dismal beginning to the campaign, also losing all three league matches thus far.

Finally, Nuno Espirito Santo is also under pressure at West Ham United, with many people’s title favourites struggling on their return to the second tier. We discuss all three managers and whether the clubs should make a move by the time the September international break arrives.
