Imptoons has raised £651 for the LCFC Foundation following a busy pre-match stint in the Fanzone, with supporters now able to help push the total towards £1,000 by shopping online.
While the result on the pitch gave us little to celebrate, there was a much more positive story off it as fans turned out to support the fundraiser.
Chris Wray, better known as CJW, thanked everyone who stopped by, reporting fantastic sales and plenty of opportunities to chat with fellow Imps. He is now hoping those who could not make it, forgot to visit or were put off by the queues can help take the fundraising total into four figures.
“A massive thank you to everyone who came down to see us before the match today. We were incredibly busy and sales were fantastic!”
The Imptoons Etsy shop has been updated with the new 12-card expansion pack, giving supporters another chance to add to their collections. Each of the new cards is also available individually, so anyone wanting duplicates or a particular combination can pick and choose.
There is plenty available beyond the cards, with yearbooks, stickers, beermats and art prints among the other Imptoons items still on sale. That gives exiled supporters, as well as anyone who missed the stall, a chance to get involved from home.
Chris confirmed that production costs have already been covered, with postage the remaining expense. As a result, virtually everything from these orders can be added to the Foundation total, which is currently £349 short of the £1,000 target.
“All of the production costs have already been covered, barring postage, so virtually everything from these orders can keep being added to the Foundation total.”
It is a terrific amount raised already, and hopefully there are a few more of us who can help Chris get that total over the line. If you have been meaning to pick up the new cards or fancy some Imptoons artwork, this is a chance to do so while supporting the LCFC Foundation.
