The Stacey West’s Championship Show returns to reflect on all the major talking points following the first international break of the campaign.
For the first time in three weeks, Charlie and Kyle had some actual football to discuss. That includes the South Coast derby, which saw one side earn bragging rights in the league for the first time in 22 years. Before that, we take a deep dive into Watford’s start to the campaign and talk through whether Alessio Dionisi should be fearful of losing his job, following their dismal 4-0 defeat to Burnley.
Next on the agenda was Queens Park Rangers’ underrated start to the season, after picking up a solid point at West Ham United on Friday evening. We discuss what has changed for the Hoops this campaign, including their strength in defence, and whether we see them as genuine promotion contenders.
For all that, plus a discussion around Tonda Eckert’s punishment for his involvement in ‘Spygate’, listen to the latest episode before the midweek set of fixtures!
